Where To Put the Paypal Donation Button
There are several places you will likely want to put your donation button:
1. In the navbar area of every page on your site; 2. On a dedicated preselling Donation Page; and/or 3. On the "Cancel Payment" page you created earlier. For items 1 and 2, you only need to paste the button code you got from Paypal within a text block on those pages where you want it to appear. For item 1 however, you will need to use an absolute positioned div to place the button in your navbar area. I won't go into the tutorial on the ap div here as it is available via the Sitesell Forums in the FAQ of the HTML forum (login is required to access).
Adding A Security NoticePeople like to know their information is secure so I recommend adding a security notice to your button display. It would be a text link, you can see what it looks like here: You Are Secure
First, you need to create an html page, don't worry, it's very easy to do! Just copy and paste the following code into a plain text editor like Notepad: Then save the file as follows: "save as" "all file types" and name it security.html Upload it via the "Upload Your Own HTML" section of Site Central.
You won't pass analyzer, and you may get warnings from the uploader, don't worry about this, just go ahead and upload. If you get an error on upload however that says you don't have a title tag, then you didn't use a plain text editor to create the file and you will need to start over.
Then copy and paste the following code right after your Paypal Donation Button code on your pages:
